Introduction to Math

Math is applied logic. Math is the study of key aspect of objects like it's quantity and shape. It uses basic logic expressions to explain the world around us.
Today, math is used in many fields as an important tool. Understanding math gives you an understanding of the world around you, and can lead to many career such as physics and engineering
Content
Grade 8 to 9

Grade 8 to 9 mostly build foundational skill in order to prepare for higher level. It mostly focuses on proportions, fractions, basic algebra, the pythagorean theorem, ,surface area/volume in grade 8, while grade 9 focuses on abstract algebraic and geometric reasoning
Grade 10 to 11
In grade 10 to 11 difficulties step up dramatically. In grade 10 it focuses on core concepts such as quadratics, factoring, radicals, and basic trig. In Grade 11 students can choose between 2 path, Foundational Math which focuses real word applications or pre calc.

Grade 12

Same as grade 11 there is 2 path a student can choose in grade 12 pre-calc, it focuses on advanced functions such as trig, sequences, and log/exp functions. While in foundational Math it focuses on combinatorics, probability, financial planning, and conics.
Career
There isn't really a career "for" math, math can help u in many fields and applications such as engineering, finance, etc.
